I've gotten a lot of requests throughout the last couple of months where many people asked me about a physics mod. Today is the day where this comes true. > Please don't forget to rate and share!
So, I've also added this -unlimitedlog -mm_max_resource_size 90 -mm_max_tmp_buffers_size 1000 -mm_pool_size 7168 to the launch options, but crashes still. I'll probably try to delete every mod and check if there might be a "culprit" beneath them.
-mm_pool_size 4000 -mm_max_resource_size 50 -mm_max_tmp_buffers_size 1344 and everything works normal now I added r_buffer_page_size and g_phys_mirrors values in console, where it will remain after you restart your game (I believe you need to apply the same for all profiles, I remember I could not find these in the general config some time ago
Go to your Steam library, right click on ETS2, choose Properties, then click Set Launch Options. In the box that comes up, paste. -mm_pool_size 400. I also have 8gb ram but i set mine to 1600 so -mm_pool_size 1600 and all is perfect now hope this helps #2. STLee Aug 29, 2013 @ 1:27pm.

Here you can download my custom NPI settings Euro_Truck_Simulator_2.nip. I think this will work well in your case too**. Next, you need to change game's config.cfg. Here is my own config.cfg. Notice that in case you get low FPS with these settings, the only lines you need to change in this file are: r_sun_shadow_texture_size (lower to default 4096)
Starting from -mm_pool_size 1024 to -mm_pool_size 4096 . The fact is that if you set high values, the allocated memory will increase and, accordingly, a crash will occur (for me) If you set -mm_pool_size 1024 : the allocated memory will be kept at 8-9 GB; -mm_pool_size 2048 - 10GB/11GB.
Start up NPI and select the Euro Truck Simulator 2 profile in the drop-down list. Here's the basic settings to configure: -mm_pool_size 4000 //Size of the general
Stomper Aug 5, 2013 @ 12:49pm. Ok so we know its not your old profile doing this. So lets go over what you have done: 1. Verified Local File Cache. 2. Disabled all mods and created a new profile (Make sure the 3.5 map mod and related mods to it are disabled and start a new profile in a originial map city.)
Close all programs and in the background uninstall apps you never use, at start use: -mm_pool_size 15384 -mm_max_resource_size 50 -mm_max_tmp_buffers_size 1000. Run ultra on graphics settings and g_traffic 2. Has GeForce RTX 3060 with 16 ram memory. Run ultra on everything scale 300 t MY screen is at 240hz with AND FreeSync Premium 1500R
General performance of the game. I don't think it is a secret that currently ETS 2 is an incredibly badly optimized game, running at roughly 50-80% GPU utilization on overage on modern midrange hardware. Even when running the game at 400% scaling and with the maximum SMAA settings it will still only run around 60% while in cities.
I noticed several improvements after version 1.4.8, especially in map and memory management. So let's talk about the current version (1.8.2.5) The mm_pool_size option is still effective but the default value has changed : It is now 400 instead of 200. This solve most incompatibilities with mod maps.
adding "eurotrucks2.exe" -mm_pool_size 1200 (4-6GB RAM should use 400 - max. 800 8GB and more ram: 400 max 1200) this will make Euro2 use more memory, this is needed for very big maps (the post says). Do you have experience with this?
A PC with approx. 8GB Ram should use -mm_pool_size 1500 . But for most mods and maps, 1000 will be enough (Even 500 should work for some mods. -nointro is for blocking the intro. you are done! Have fun with more Ram, less crashes and fewer lags. RAM Menge für ETS2 erhöhen Einige Karten und Mods brauchen mehr RAM als das Spiel sich selbst zusichert.
Location: Watchin' y'all. Re: Option to switch on and off DLC's in profile. #2 by ohaha » 20 Sep 2013 06:51. I don't know if it's possible. The quick and dirty method is to have two installations of the game and two mod folders. You just rename one to something (mod_DLC) while playing the other one and, when you want to play the other, rename
